Communal Chatroom

Long ago, back when I was a newbie on RPG.net v1.0, there used tk be a communal chatroom into which any site member could log and begin conversing with one another. These chats, whilst basic in function and easily replicated by IM programs like MSN or Yahoo!, were the prefered “hang out” locations for players at the time: IC and OOC events were discussed with greater speed and wnthusiasm than they were in the forums, and at other times the chatroom was even used in order to run official game scenes (at least, it was for the campaigns that I was playing in).

I would love to find a chatroom on RPG.net once again. Basic or advanced, I expect that having a place to hang out and talk directly with online members in a medium more speedy than forum posts would be a welcomed thing.
