Possible Malware?

I originally thought I had gotten a Malware (the Text Enhance malware/adware) when I noticed some of the text in my thread “And so I return…” on the General Discussion forum had turned into links with suspect popups on mouseover / hover.

However, after following all the steps for removal of Text Enhance, it was still there. I thought “bummer, it didn’t work”. But when I visited the (full) site with my cell phone this morning, I noticed the links were still in the text.

I’m still thinking it’s most likely on my end the problem is, even though everything is scanned, deleted and cleaned. But the fact that it appeared in the same thread , on different devices, and it’s so far the only occurrence I’ve seen still led me to report this (seeing as certain newer versions of Text Enhance has been known to affect sites as well as users). Better to be safe than sorry. Also see attached screen shot.
